Terms of use
These short terms apply to the UpTo app and are written for the current private beta. We will review them before a public release.
Who can use UpTo
You must be 16 or older to use UpTo. Use it only with people you know.
Your behaviour
Do not impersonate others, harass people, post illegal or unsafe content, or share another person's location without their consent.
Plans, venues and bills
UpTo helps you coordinate. It does not organize, supervise, insure, reserve or guarantee a meeting, venue, journey, booking or participant. Hosts and participants remain responsible for their own decisions. "Split the bill" only calculates shares; UpTo never handles money, and payments happen directly between you through services like PayPal, Revolut or Bizum.
Not an emergency service
Location, notifications and availability can be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. Never rely on UpTo for emergencies, personal safety monitoring, medical help or time-critical navigation.
Reports and moderation
You can report a person or content in the app, and you can block someone immediately. We review reports, usually within a few days. If something breaks these terms or the law, we may remove content, limit features or suspend the account. We tell the person concerned what we did and why, unless that would put someone at risk, and they can reply to uptosupport@icloud.com to ask us to look again. Our contact point for users and authorities is uptosupport@icloud.com (English or Spanish).
The beta
Features can change, and test data may be removed when technically or legally necessary.
Your account
You are responsible for access to your Apple account and device. You can permanently delete your UpTo account in Privacy Center. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
